How To
Step 1: Downloading
Begin by visiting https://easyrpg.org/ and clicking on the green highlighted text labeled “EasyRPG Player” located at the bottom left of the page. From there, navigate to the Downloads section and select the appropriate 32-bit or 64-bit executable file for your PC. Save the file to a preferred location, such as your desktop for easy access.
Step 2: Extraction
Once the download is complete, extract the zip file using any preferred extractor tool, such as WinRar, 7-Zip, or the Windows extractor tool. Extract the file to your desktop for easy access and delete the previous zip file.
Step 3: Fixing
Navigate to Yume Nikki in your library and click on the gear icon located on the far right of the game page. Hover over “Manage” and click on “Browse local files.” Look for a file with the name of the game and open it. Scroll down until you see an application labeled “RPG_RT” with an icon of a character wielding a sword and blue hair. Delete this file. Next, go to your EasyRPG Player folder and locate the application labeled “Player” with an EasyRPG logo icon. Rename it to “RPG_RT” (without the quotation marks) and then copy and paste it inside the yumenikki folder.
Step 4: Enjoy
Congratulations, you’re all set! Open the game through Steam and experience the fixed lag issue. Enjoy playing and thank you for using this guide!
