Medic Melee Weapons Review
The Bonesaw:
The Medic’s standard melee weapon has average damage and swing speed. However, it’s still a formidable weapon in close-quarters combat.
Damage: 65
Crit: 195
Rating: 1/10
The Übersaw:
It is a favorite among Medic players, despite its slower swing speed. Hitting an enemy with the Übersaw can instantly fill up the Medic’s UberCharge meter up to 24%, which can be a game-changer in high-pressure situations. But has a 20% slow firing speed that doesn’t matter much actually.
Rating: 10/10
The Amputator:
It can be useful in certain circumstances, as it has a slightly slower swing speed than the Bonesaw but can heal nearby teammates when the Medic performs its taunt.
+ When active, +3 health regenerated per second on the wearer.
+ On taunt: Applies a healing effect to all nearby teammates.
– Deals 20% less damage.
Rating: 8.5/10
The Solemn Vow:
It has the same stats as the Bonesaw but offers an additional benefit – it allows the Medic to see enemy player health, which can be invaluable in coordinating with teammates. but has 10% slow firing speed.
Rating: 3/10
The Vita-Saw:
It can also be a helpful choice, as it enables the Medic to retain up to 20% of their UberCharge meter upon death. While it has the same stats as the Bonesaw, this ability can be beneficial in maintaining momentum during a game.
Rating: 6/10
Ultimately, the decision of which melee weapon to use will depend on your playstyle and preferences. Don’t be afraid to experiment with different weapons to find the one that suits you best.
