In this guide, regrow the forest like you never touched it. Bring back every single tree and bush.
How to regrow Trees
If you’ve recently cutted down a handful of trees and bushes, unfortunately, they will remain severed. However, with a swift and easy solution, you can revive the entire forest.
All you need to do is adhere to these effortless steps, which can be applied to both singleplayer and multiplayer modes!
To restore the forest to its original state you need to regrow Tress, follow these steps to do so:
- Save and exit your game.
- Navigate to your save file, which is located at “\AppData\LocalLow\Endnight\SonsOfTheForest\Saves\XXX\Singleplayer\XXX”.
- Open the “WorldObjectLocatorManagerSaveData.json” file using a standard text editor such as Notepad.
- Delete all existing content within the file and replace it with the provided code.
- Save the modified file and relaunch the game. The forest will now be restored as if it had never been touched.

Tips:
- To access your AppData folder, simply type “%appdata%” in the search bar of your Windows operating system. This will automatically open the AppData\Roaming directory, and you can navigate from there by clicking on “AppData” in the address bar.
- If you’re uncertain which save file is the correct one, you can easily identify it by saving your game again and checking the “last changed” directory.
If you’re familiar with JSON or programming in general, you may be aware that each tree and bush within the game has a unique serial hash number that’s stored within the .JSON file. Every time you launch the game, the map is loaded and every tree and bush in existence is loaded with it. The file is then used to destroy the specific objects.
By accessing the array within the file and removing specific parts or elements, you can have complete control over which trees or bushes you want to regrow. However, this process requires knowledge of the serial hash number for the object in question.
That’s it for the Guide. I hope you guys appreciate it and are Thankful to K.1.N.G for his wonderful guide. He nailed it!
