Guide for Blueprints
If you’ve been struggling with blueprints in your mining operations, don’t worry! we’ll help you navigate through the blueprint system and make the most out of your planning.
To access blueprint mode, activate while in Mining Mode. This will open a menu with three icons on the far bottom right of the screen, depicted as blueprints from left to right.
- The first icon, Blueprint Mode, allows you to plan out structures without having the dwarves dig them out. This is particularly helpful for long-term planning and optimizing your mining operations.
- The second icon, Convert Blueprint to Regular, allows you to select tiles in a similar pattern to mining but converts any blueprint square into a regular mining designation. This is useful when you want to make large blueprints a little bit at a time while still maintaining their integrity.
- Finally, the third icon, Convert Regular to Blueprint, does the opposite of the second icon and converts regular mining designations into blueprints. This can be helpful when you want to save a particular mining pattern for future use.
By mastering these blueprint techniques, you’ll be able to plan out your mining operations more efficiently and effectively. So start exploring and get creative with your blueprints!
